It was decided to recommend the 1930 telegraphic conference to establish a category of urgent Press telegrams at treble ordinary Press rates to bo treated exactly, as urgent private messages. The committee considered a recommendation of tho conference of Press experts covering terminal charges operating in Australia and other countries, and decided that, while refraining from expressing an opinion in the ' domestic policy involved, to suggest thdt the Governments concerned consider .the matter with a View of ascertaining whether modifications in these charges wore possible.
