A fantastic scheme has been adopted in Australia to reawaken the activities of ttie Church of England, having its commencement in Melbourne. The Rev. C. Barclay,' vicar of St. Mary's Church, Melbourne, inaugurated the idea, which calls for twenty^four hours' continuous prayer In each church which accopts the cross. At St. Mary's a twenty-four hours' continuous service was held, after which the cross was conveyed to St. Peter's, where a similar service took place.
