ELDERLY LADY'S DEATH
«, KNOCKED DOWN BY BICYCLE (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVBRCAEGILL, 25th May. The death on 13th May of Mrs. Jane Eankin Stobq, aged. 69, who was knocked down by a bicycle, ridden by two schoolboys, on Ist May, formed the subject of an inqury by the Coroner (Mr. G. Cruickshank) to-day. The medical evidence showed that the deceased suffered from a fracture at the base of the skull. She partially recovered consciousness for a few days, .then lapsed into unconsciousness, and djed of heart failure. The Coroner returned a verdict that the deceased died from a fracture of tire skull as the result of being knocked down by a bicycle ridden by schoolboys.
