Celluloid sido screens and curtains very soon become scratched. The best treatment is metal polish, exactly as for a celluldsed body. As move pressure is required than would be safe for them in position on the car, they 'should be removed and polished on a table. Here, again, is the difficulty that the celluloid does not touch the table, arid pressure would be unsafe. It is evident it must be supported from beneath by a soft flat pad, which may easily bo contrived of newspaper or sheets of millboard made up to about -Jin thick and roughly of the shape of the celluloid of the curtain. If a piece of board is used it should be covered with two or three thicknesses of newspaper to prevent scratching the celluloid. '
