While no report of accessories is complete without reference to the "jewels" all the dressmakers show with their gowns and the buckles and- belts that have assumed so much importance—l | must give fuller details in a later letter. The sketch enclosed was a charming frock designed by a very proiniuonot dressmaker, and carried out in black and royal blue. The embroidered circles are of gold thread, further decorated with tiny gold spots, which spread half "on the blue and half on the black. The stand-up tied collar is a now note, and the little black hat, cut up iii front, had a,- band of blue and one of gold ribbon for its solo decoration. —RUTH SIBLEY.
