Wellington brokers held their fortnightly i«i!o of sheepskins and hides yesterday to ;i full bench, of buyers. Dry (skins showed ;m advance of %d to , %d, and saltcds' prices Gd to Is. and in some eases Is Gd. on.last sale. Hides were well competed for, ox showing a drop of-about %d to %d; cow a drop o£ Vid to Id as compared with last sale. Calfskins and kip practically no change. Tallow prices were firmer. The following is the oflicial range i 01 prices:— Sheepskins—Halfbred lod to 15:/4 d, fine crossbred 15'/&d to. '17Ud, medium-coarse crossbred 13% dto lO'/id, short to half wools l2Yid to 15d, lambs 14% dto 17% d, dead and damaged crossbred 12d to 15Ud, inferior and badly damaged Sd to 1294 d, pelts 9d to 12%' d, damp, salted and green 7s 9d to 12s lOd, lambs (salted) 5s Od to 8s 9d.
