AIR MAIL SERVICE.
Two days are now being saved in delivtry ■ot trans-Atlantic mail to points in Canada by arrangements made by the Post Office Department at Ottawa to have air mail taken from certain westbound liners at Father Point,, ia the St. Lawrence River. The first stfamer to land mails for airplane delivery was the Hegina, which left Liverpool In April / for Montreal. It is understood that the Canadian Post Office authorities intend to arrange for regular supplementary outward malls to be sent to Father Point by plane to overtako onstnoiiml steamers two days after they have sailed from .Montreal.
