LONDON, 24th May. • Dr. Voronoff, who is paying a flying visit to England, had a boisterous ■welcome from 500 medical students at the Cambridge Medical Society. He gave a lecture on the miracles of monkey glands. He explained his early experiments and screened pictures showing the results of gland operations. He declared that women need never grow old. "Women who want to hunt and play games again with all the ardour and ability of youth may do so. lam convinced that I am able to make people love at 140, and»perhapa at 150, yeJws, because of my experiments on animals. There are sheep on my farm who have reached the age of 20 years, equivalent to 148 in humans. t can do likewise with humans." -Dr. Voronoff described remarkable effects in several cases. He instanced a man in a mental home, his mind blank, but within six months he resumed his work as a pharmacist.' A newspaper man whose mind had failed ■reported that he felt as he did twenty years before. Grafts did not give such marked results in women as men, but subsequent experiments overcame that difficulty, and he was- now ready to declare his operations an unqualified success.
