An English exchange states that excavations which ara proceeding ~l Sakkara,,the site of the oldest cw .mid, opposite Helwan, south of Cairn" and near the left" bank of the Vil midway between Gizeh and Dahsh, ?-' have resulted in the discovery of room, ■in the famous Third DynastyVep^ ■mid of Tchesey (the age-old monument o£ Zoscr, ascribed to' the thirtieth nf. fortieth century before-Christ). Tw rooms when opened were found to 1,! decorated with blue tiles, and contaiif ed three limestone reliefs in the fiW« I style of the Third Dynasty? ffi/R representations and inscriptions of thl Pharpah Neterkhet (Zoser), the bujldel lof the pyramid.
