LINDBERGH'S NEW JOB
TECHNICAL ADVISER Australian Press Association—United Service. (Received 24th May, 11 a.m.) NEW YORK, 23rd May. The.importance of Colonel Lindbergh as the outstanding figure in American aviation was again demonstrated when, following the announcement that he had accepted the position of technical adviser with the Transcontinental Air Transport Company, all airplane and accessory stocks jumped from 5 to 10 points oil the Stock Exchange. Colonel Lindbergh gave an.interview, making" it clear that, while he agreed to furnish advice to the new company, which is engaged in a combination of rail and airplane transport, he is not exclusively associated with it, and will continue his other air activities.
