ESSEX MURDER CASE
COURT DISMISSES APPEAL .nited Service. LONDON, 23rd May. Tho Court of Criminal Appeal dismissed the appeal of William Kennedy and Frederick Browne against , their death sentences in connection with the murder of Police-Constable Gutteridge in Essex in September last. Lord Hewart said the case was "as plain as a pikestaff."
