NEW ZEALAND UNION
The New Zealand Rugby* Union's Management Committee met last evening, Mr. S. S. Dean presiding. Others present were: Messrs. A. G. Kitto, 11. S. Leith, E. M'Kenzie, T. A. Fletcher, E. Wylie, J. Eoaehe, mid A. E. Neilsou. Applications by the following for reinstatement were granted:—A. J. Cullen, J. W. Blaekaby, and R. E. Spicer (of Canterbury), P. P. Holmes and R. Oliphant (Auckland), W. 11. Perkins' (Southland), 11. ,T. Keenan (King Country), C. Matson (Auckland), J. P. Clark , (Millerton), J. R. Cunningham and E. C. Weavers (Wellington). Tho New Zealand Rugby Referees' Association advised that Mr. J. Francis had been re-elected as that body's representative on the New Zealand Appointment Board. Tho Thames Valley Rugby Union notified that its referees capable and available to control matches where the New Zealand Appointment Board had to make the appointment were: Messrs. A. W. Dunstan, T. Turner, E. Smith, N. Emmett, and J. L. V. Reed. ( Advice was received from the Wairarapa Rugby Union that it had challenged Canterbury to a Raiifurly Shield match on the ISth July.
