DE LUXE THEATRE.
At tho De Liixo Theatre will bo shown finally 10-day "A Hero for a Night," starring (.ilcim Tyron and Patsy Ruth Miller. Tho story is of a young man who, lo prove his love to his sweetheart, decides to do somo apparently Impossible air feats, one of which includes a flight to Russia and back in ono night. How well ho carries out lho stunt ho starts out on, and how faithfully lie convinces "his girl" that ho is tho one and only so far as sho Is concerned at least, makes tho whole stury one of tlio most humorous as well as tlio most romantic seen in Wellington for some considerable time. There are excellent supports and the orchestral. items aro bright. A delightful story, which unfolds with real sparkle, is "French Dressing," which opens at tho Do Luxo Theatre to-morrow with a matinee on Saturday at ..'3O. The story is both amusing and sincere, and tells of a'cold littlo wife who really learned how to live through a trip to Paris. Lois Wilson is tile wifo, and Her transformation from the prim matron to die beautiful girl with bobbco hair and Paris gowns, is realistically portrayed. The scenes iv Paris and Lo Toriuct are marvels of beauty both In direction and photography. H. B. Warner is again back in comedy, and his famous work in "Alias Jimmy Valentino" Is still one of tho classics of the spoken stage. In "French Dressing" lie plays the part of tho husband, and is a positive scream right through the comedy. "French Dressing" ls a comedy for wives who think they understand husbands, and husbands who think thoy understand wives. Tho supporting programme will be of tho usual high standard, and a good musical programmo will also bo presented. The box plans aro at tho Bristol Piano Company, Aitken's Book Arcade, or seats may bo reserved by ringing tho theatre, 23-OSO.
