In order to preserve the identity of the produce, the Dairy Board is investigating methods of imprest marking of cheese both with the letters "N.Z." and with the words "New Zealand." Arrange-' ments were made for a continuance of the experiments. It is believed that New Zealand cheese is often sold as prime English cheddar. The marking of the Dominion product in the above manner should do much to prevent this practice.
