LATE SPORTING
SATRAP'S SALE I'or some reason misunderstanding have been rife in regard to tho sale ol Satrap and erroneous reports have been circulated, due to too much being taken for granted. Mr. T. S. Eoulston, who has negotiated tho sale throughout, has informed "The Post" that only now has tho sale been finally confirmed by cable from Australia. Up to yesterday there was still an element of doubt. Much has been made of the fact that lieither tho name of the purchaser nor the price has been disclosed. In point" of fact this is not anything un« usual until deals are completed. However, all that can bo divulged at. the moment is that Satrap has been purchased by a Quecnslander at a substantial four-figure price, and that,ho leaves Wellington by tho Maunganui on Friday next in the charge of M. Duggan.
