NAPIER HARBOUR BOARD
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, This Day. By Act of Parliament last session the constitution of the Napier Harbour Board was amended to provide for two members instead of one to represent the borough of Hastings. The election of the extra representative yesterday resulted in the return of Mr; J. S. M'Leod, managing 'director of De Pelichet, M'Leod, and Co., and also president of the Chamber of Commerce, by a sweeping majority. The polling resulted:—M'Leod, 1040; H.
