SURF CHAMPIONS
"• LYALL BAY WINS NELSON SHIELD (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 24th January. At the surf championships, held at St. Clair beach to-day, Lynll Bay won the Nelson Shield with 163 points. Maranui (157V2 points) was second, and Canterbury (144 points) third. The foiir-man surf championship went to Canterbury A with 91 points.' Maranui, with 00 1-3 points, .was second, and St. Clair, 84 2-3 points, third. ' The following handicaps have been declared for the Annette Kellerman Cup race:—R. J. Webster (Auckland), scr; J.
