RIFLE SHOOTING
"The Petone Rifle Club will fire at the 800 and 905 yard ranges at Trentham to-mor-row. The match will be the final competition for the club championship and will also count for the Flaws Cup, Longfield aggregate, and long-range series. The Old Navals Defence Rifle Club Will shoot for the. long-range aggregate and five series at Trentham on Saturday. The Karori Defence Kifle Club will fire a championship match at Trentham on Saturday, the ranges being 800 and 900 yards. At Trentham on Saturday the Suburbs Rifle Club will continue the championship at 800 and 900 yards. On Monday (Anniversary Day) the annual "Daily Mail" competitions will be fired over all ranges.
