Bobby .(ones announces that he will not accept the 50,----000 dollars house tendered him by a group of a hundred admiring friends in honour dt liis winning the British Open Championship, despite a statement by the United Slates Golf Association that acceptance of the gift would not be a-vio-lation of the association rule governing the amateur status.
