Sydenham, against Riccarton, made 235 (Young 43, Cunningham 24, Fitzmauriec 2S, King 55). Haines got four wickets for 37 runs. lliccnrton have four wickets down for 84 (Co!c 34, Gorrie IS). Lhrwood, playing Old Uoj-s, made 31."5 (Jioon 80, Orchard 80, Yates 55). Powell, who took four wickets for 70, bowled best. Old Collegians made 197 against St. Alba us (Lester 3S, Pengelly 41, Chrystal not out 4(i, and Damilton 30, being the principal contributors). Woods took three wickcls for 34 rims, and did best with thn ball. St. Albans have two wickets down lor S3 (Crawford not out 4-1). West ChvisU'lmreh made 173 (Haynes 4!). Alexander 43), and East Christclnivch 105 for four wickets (Kennedy 50). For Kast, AVeston secured four wickets for 57 runs and Mills throe for 44. NELSON, 7th January.
