FIRES IN AUSTRALIA
(A.P.A. and "Sun.") (Received 7th January, 10 a.m.) BEISBANE, This Day. Damage estimated at £120,000 resulted from a lire which broke out in a big four-story building in Mary stvoet, in the city, occupied by Messrs. Webster and Co., general merchants. The building was practically gutted, and was still burning at an early hour this morning. A fire at Ayr .caused damage estimat!ed at £.10,000.
