OUR PET THINGS.
"Wo have a parrot at home, and it talks. It is amusing to listen to them and watch theni walking up and down tho perch. There's a man near our place, and he has a number of dogs. Well, once he took his dogs for a walk along the streets. When he was going home whistling them home, the parrot happened to be sitting on the verandah when ho passed, and it whistled tho dogs back, stopping them to go home." GWBN BLACKLEY. Masterton.
