PERSONAL.
Mr. H. W. Jones, second officer of the Komata, is ashore for orders. His place haf been taken by Mr. J. H. Ibbotson, who recently passed for his master's certificate. The Kalwarra was recently recommtssioned at Lyttelton, and is under the command of Captain K. L. Davies. His deck officers are:— Chief, Mr. T. W. White; second, Mr. D. W. Williams; third, Sir. J. M'Nell. Mr. E. G. K. Meatyard has reported from leave, having passed for his master's certificate.
