MURDERED POLICEMAN
REPORTED FRESH EVIDENCE (Received 7th January, 2.45 p.m.) LONDON, 6th January. Detectives boarded a steamship from Australia at Tilbury Docks and interviewed a seaman concerning happenings on board during tho outward voyage. It is understood that new and important facts have thus come into the possession of the police regarding the sensational murder of 'Police-Constable Gutteridge, whose body was discovered beside the road with a number of bullet wounds.
