MOTORS AND KARORI CEMETERY
i (To tho Editor.) Sir,—May I, through the agency of your columns, draw attention to. the speed of motor vehicles in Karori cemetery? The speed set down on the signboard is four miles an hour, but the cars frequently go over 20, and many seem to go through with the express intention of wakening the echoes with their horns. The cemetery should be regarded in the same light as a church: a place of hallowed and sacred memories, and those who have lost dear ones should be left in silence to their thoughts. There is no real need,for cars to go through;' the road is just as convenient, and cars could be left parked outaide. —I am, etc.,
