LETTERS.

Dear Fairiel, I went in for my first swim this summer 'to-day. I enjoyed it ever so much and did not find the water cold. I felt that the great big ocean belonged to me because there were only two other girls in beside myself. I am the same as you, Fairiel, I like to get away from the town into the country or the bush. All we want now is the nice fine weather. We have two beautiful new kites. One is my brother's and one is mine. We brought them on to the beach and my brother's kite was going up ever so high when it got caught on the side of a hill. Of course we got it oft again but my brother had to climb up the hill and pull it off the bush on which' it was caught. FAY HENSHILWOOD. Kilbirnie. Dear Fairiel, I thought you would like a photograph of a swarm of bees. When the Queen goes into the hive they all follow her, while some keep on the walls and "go in last, and this is when the photo was taken. I do not know whether it is. good enough for the Fairy Ring anyway, I thought you would'like to see it. The other is of myself and Blossom, the goat. We are looking forward for the Christmas Fairy Eiag, we will all be glad when Christmas conies, won't we! Erie was very pleased to write today. Love from, • '" ALAN SPEXCER. Belmont.
