ANOTHER THEFT COMMITTED

(Special to "The Evening Post.") CHRISTCHURCH, This Day A. gang of burglars known as "The Borers" is blamed for the theft of fancy goods and cosmetics from the shop of J. H; Reynolds, a chemist, in Papanui road, last night. Entry was gained on the same lines as many recent burglaries. Three panels of a door at the rear of the premises were removed by perforating them with a brace and bit. The intruders evidently wore gloves, as no finger-prints were found Investigations made by the police convince them that the goods are not disposed of here. In this case tho value of the goods taken is £50, and the total of the hauls ascribed to«the gan<* is valued at over £2000. The detectives say that "The Borers" are Australian cracksmen.
