Douglas M'lean's latest picture, "Soft Cushions," heads tho .two-star programme that will commence to-night at the King's Theatre.

"Soft Cushions" is a rollicking tale of the Orient, providing a comedy setting entirely new to the screen. The action of the story carries the comedian through the streets of a. Far East city, the harem of a dealer in beautiful girls, -the law Courts, divans, and palaces of the rulers. A cast of notable players give support to the antics of the principals. "Soft Cushions" was written by the late George Randolph Chester, creator of '"Get Rich Quick Walllngford." The second attraction on tho programme is "Glenister of the Mounted." starring the popular athlete Maurice ("Lefty") Flynn. This picture Is most exciting and realistic, and the forest fire episode is a marvel of photography. A love story and the suspense' is maintained to the novel climax.
