The sixth series of wool sales has con-' eluded. The market closed with exceedingly keen competition for all wools showing^ quality, also for evenly classed lines' of' good length but of only average quality. The only hesitancy shown was for; short, uneven length and very burry parcels; All skirtings were eagerly competed ■ for at'prices equal to the best rates of the season,' and the demand for all grades of crossbreds was pronounced, prices .being exceedingly firm.
