HARBOUR EXCURSIONS.

The management of the Eastbourne Jferry and Motor-omnibus Service draws atention in the advertising columns to-day to a special attraction for to-morrow. Arrangements have been made for the Wellington Caledonian Pipe Band to play selections on the ferry wharf in the afternoon at 2.15 o'clock and on the journey across the harbour on the ferry boat, later rendering an open-air concert at Days Bay. Visitors may avail themselves of the round trip by going, out by bus and returning by boat. For the convenience of trampers and tennis players, an early boat is now running at 9.30 a.m., the grass and asphalt courts at both .Days and Rona Bays being available for play. The management also asks that those making arrangements for picnics and excursions during the summer months will nrst of aU obtain particulars about ferry tares and other inducements under offer. It is fnrther pointed out that there are ample grounds at Eastbourne and Day's Bay for all kinds of sport.
