FATAL FALL FROM CHIMNEY
A distressing fatality occurred at tho Wellington Gas Company's works at Miramar at 11 o'clock this morning, when one of the company's employees^ Jeremi h Kelliher, fell from a scaffold surrounding a chimney which was being demolished, and was killed instantaneously. It is thought that the deceased overbalanced, as there was no wind blowing at the time. He fell about 100 feet. He was a married man, about 3t\ years of age, with two young children, and lived at Toru street, Miramar. The body was removed to the morguo, and an inquest will be held.
