HONG KONG, 9th October. A naval wireless massage from Swatow reports that Chinese soldiers forced an entrance into the English Presbyterian Mission hospital, gaggedv the Chinese pssistants, and threatened' officials with revolvers. that in* the future they must receive instructions concerning the management from the military authorities. The doctor managed to gp a message to a British warship, which immediately sent a platoon of armed naval ratings, which is guarding the hospital., The British Consul noticed the Chinese authorities that the guard would not be removed until Ke had assurance of no further molestation. Tnc situation is considered serious.
