RUGBY, 9th October. Mrs. Elliott Lynn, the woman air pilot, at Manchester yesterday created an officially observed new world's height record for light airplanes by piloting an Avro Avian two-seater machine, with a 90 horse-power Alphn engine, to a height of. 19,000 feet or nearly four miles above the ground. Sbo carried a man passenger. The previous record of 17,283 feet was madt by Lady Bailey. .
