Levin.and Co., Ltd., have, received the following cable from 'their London agents, dated 16th September:— '^Frozen meat quotations (prices on livered" basis, i.e., including ' storage charges, cartage, tolls,' etc.): —Down lamb, 2842, 9%d por lb; best North Island^ 28/ 42, 9%d per lb; ordinary North Island. 28/42, B?id per lb; second quality, limb, B%d per Ibj best North Island wether*. 48/64, 6Vid per lb; best North Island wethers, 64/72, 5%d per lb; ordinary North Island wetheni, 48/64, 5%d pefUbNorth Island ewes, 48/64, 5%d per- lbNorth Island ewes, 64/72, 4%d per' Ih; New Zealand prime ox beef,. 160/220, i nil* As compared, with last week's quotations, Down and best North Island lamb shows an advance of %d per lb.
