A PLUNKET ENTERTAINMENT
Nest Friday and Saturday nights, in the Town Hall Concert Chamber, the committee of the Plunket Society will appeal to the public through the medium of a dramatic and dance recital. Mr. Charles Allen has generously offered to h"lp the society by the gift of a public performance of his one-act play, "How to Look at Pictures,'.' which he haß .adapted from a play written in collaboration with Mr. Hubert Ross.; Mr. W. S. Wauchop is producing it, and the cast is composed of some of Wellington's well-known people. Mr. Charles Allen, who is a son of Sir James Allen, is well known as a writer of charming plays. Another featuro cf the programme 'will be dances by the pupils of Miss Madeline Vyner, including a number of dances new to "Wellington, audiences, interpreted by adult and child dancers. Miss Vyner will appear in three solos. The committee is not holding its annual children's Christmas party this year, and .feel confident that in offering this performance it will have the support and interest of the public.
