PROSPECT OF RESULTS
GOVERNMENT OPTIMISTIC
(United Press Association.—Copyright;) LONDON, 16th September. The general opinion in Dnblin is that party organisers increased the poll. Seventy per cent, voted in Dublin before 7 o'clock. The Government is optimistic concerning the prospects, as the chief fuar was the apathy of the electors. The reduction in the number of candidates made it easier for voters to use their preferences.
