HONOLULU, 16th September. At Lihue (Kaui), Mr. Anderson has completed his inspection of the Barking Sand runway on behalf of Mr. Smith. He declared himself satisfied with the condition of the field. He said: "We will use it for our hop from Hawaii toward Australia."
