FORT NIGHOLSON BAND.
It would be difficult to offer a more attractive programme for to-morrow night than that announced for presentation In the Grand Opera House by the Port Nicholson Band. Miss Nora Greene will be heard in numbers from her ex--tensive repertoire. .Mr. W. Haydock, the violinist; will play "Caprice Viennois," by Kricsler; Mr. William Renshaw, a tenor, will sing "A Frivolous Ballad"; Miss Zena Jupp, a promising young elocutionist, will give the musical monologue, "Swanelaya"; Mr. Billy Hart, the radio favourite, will sing "Meadow Lark." An Item that should attract much interest will be the cornet solo by Mr. Harry Berry, Arban's "Fantasia Brilliante," with band accompaniment Mr. Frank E. Crowther will act as aceompanlst. The band items have been carefully selected, and Include the hymn "Noarer, My God," Balfo's overture "Bohemian Girl," patrol, "The Wee Macgroegor (this item is intended to illustrate the approach, passing by, and gradual disappearance of a Scottish patrol), ■election "II Trovatore," and the stirring march "The Cossack."
