A POSTER IN SYDNEY
SYDNEY, 22nd August, .fosters have been stuck up in various parts of the city calling on the workers in all industries to cease work for twenty-four hours, commencing tomorrow, as a protest against the execution,of Saeco and Vanzetti. The poster bears the name of Mr. Garden, secretary of the International Defence Committee. Mr. Garden states that, in addition to other employees, seamen serving under the Australian articles will also hold a stop-work meeting as a protest against the executions. This will mean holding up all work on Australian registered ships in the harbour and the prevention of the sailing of others due to leave port to-morrow.
