FINAL APPEALS FAIL
LAW TO TAKE ITS COURSE
(United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Eeceived 23rd August, 9.30 a.m.) BOSTON, 22nd August. Sacc'o and Vanzetti, on Monday, were refused the last rites' in the Church of St. Michael. . Mr. Musmanno, counsel for the defence, has announced that he is in receipt of a telegram from Chief Justice Taft, who is at his summer home in Quebec, refusing to receive a petition for stay of execution. (Eeceived 23rd August, 10 a.m.) , STONINGTON (Maine), 22nd Aup Mr. Justico Harlan Stone, of the United Spates Supreme Court, on Monday refused a stay of execution in the Saceo-Vanzetti case. He is at his summer home here.
