THEFT CHARGES

GISBORNE, This Day. Pour youths—Sydney Peter Green, James Newton, Thomas Graham, and Richard Leech—were committed for trial on a series of charges of theft in connection with the recent burglaries. David Nelson, an elderly man, was charged with receiving the stolen property. Ho was remanded until Wednesday.
