RUMANIAN YOUTH FAILS

BERLIN, 11th August The exile, ex-King George of Greece^ was looking.out of a carriage windpw when Kikinda, a Eumanian young man, attempted to assassinate him; Kikinda fired several shots without"injuring the ex-King. The man was arrested.

On 25th March, 1924, the Assembly formally deposed the Gluci-sburg dynasty, and forbade members of the family to evea reside in Greece, since when the King and Queen have lived in England, with* occasional visits to the South of France and other places.
