REPORT
The annual statemeut of accounts submitted by the council of the New Zealand GolE Association for the year ended 31st July, 1927, shows that the total revenue for the year was £992, the ordinary expenditure £899, and the cost of the visit of the team to Sydney £20S, thus leaving an excess of expenditure over revenue of £116: The balance-sheet shows that there is a surplus of assets amounting* to £253.
The report states that the' inauguration of inter-State matches for the KirkWindeyer Cup, and New Zealand's success in obtaining a de.-idcd victory, wouTd be noted by all golfers with great satisfaction and pride. During the year thirteen clubs had joined the association, and two had resigned, the membership at the close of the year being 134, against 123 for last year. Since the close of the year three more clubs had been elected.
ihe annual meeting of delegates is to be held at the V.M.C.A. building, Hamilton, on 7th September, at 8 p.m.
