DULL AND MISTY WEATHER
Yhe weather has been of a variable character, ranging from fair to unsettled conditions occasionally, and scattered rain has fallen during the past twenty-four hours. Rain was reported as close to Wellington as Foxton at 9 o'clock this morning. The winds have been variable with northerly breezes ruling. Atmospheric pressure has increased slightly, and there is evidence of a low pressure still being located westward of New Zealand. This is likely to bring dull ana misty conditions and rain in many parts of the country, with moderate to strong northerly winds, backing to westerlies and southerlies shortly i a the South.
