MARTON J.C. SPRING MEETING

After an absence of tiro years, during which time the Marton Jockey Club raced on the Feilding racecourse, and also erected new grandstands, etc., and laid down new tracks, the Marton Club will open its new racecourse with its spring meeting on Friday and Saturday, 2nd and 3rd September, 1927. Nominations for all events (including Trial Plate and Novice Stakes) close on Friday, 12th August, at 9 p.m., v.-ith the secretary. (Mr.'A. Way) at Marton.

The Railway Department has just completed erecting a loading bank at the M.lrton Junction Railway Station, with a capacity for unloading four double wagons at a time. This will prove a great boon to visiting trainers to the Marton Club's meetings, as it will save them a roundabout journey of about a mile to the racecourse's stables.
