ALDERSHOT HORSE SHOW
(From "The Post's" Representative.) LONDON, Ist July. At the Alilershot . Command and District Horse Show, which continued over a period, of three, days, a marquee was erected 300 ft in length for an exhibition of overseas produce. The New Zealand Publicity Department co-operated, and arranged an attractive stand 40ft in length. Dairy produce, fruit, wool, honey, dried milk, toheroas, and whitebait were displayed, and thirty pictures, showing tourist and scenic attractions, set off the stand. The weather was not good, and the people who oame to thcShow found the marquee a useful place for shelter, so that they had ample time to make a thorough examination of the exhibits. It is estimated that 160,000 people attended the Show.
Congratulations were received by the Now Zealand attendants from the Chief Officer of the Command, and many expressed the. opinion that New Zealand's was the best of the stands.
Prince Henry and Princess Victoria spent sotne time examining the New Zealand produce, and they were greatly interested in the pictures illustrating deep-sea fishing.
