BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders acainßt the bylaws were dealt with in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternbon by Mr. J. H. SahnoDi S.M. Charles William Matheson was fined £5 for speeding, an offence that cost William H. Smith £3, and Ronald Kerr Duncan, Norman Fraser, James Montrose Graham, Vera Graham, John Scott, Edward Ewarfc Welsh, and Cyril Vincent Wagstoff £2 each. Dennis Farrell was fined £1, as also was Smith for a second oiFence.
Having no driver's license cost Gordon Allan Temple, John Scott, and Dennis Farrell £1 each.
Justin M'Carthy Power was fined £1 for driving without lights. Albert Jones, Benjamin Kuch, Bruce LiddleT Charles William Mathe6on, and Neil Mornington Stone, who left vehicles parked without lights, were each fined 10s,
Others fined were: William James Hastings', for employing an unlicensed driver, £1; Albert Jones, for leaving his car unattended, 10s; Ronald Duff, for having number plates that were not easily distinguishable, 10s; James Carlyle, tor allowing a chimney to catch fire, ss.
