Barometer—Unsteady, but rising everywhere soon. Seas—Heavy on all the eastern coast and in Cook .Strait; considerable elsewhere. Tides—High on all the eastern coa3t; moderate elsewhere. Warning signals for eoulhcrly gales are exhibited at Cape, Maria Van Dlemen and Tlrltiri; and for south-easterly at Castlopoint, Cape Campbell. Stephen Island, Farewell Spit aid Xiigget Point.
