. Wheat,cargoes are steady. At the opening there was some Continental inquiry for Australians, but reports "of finer weather in France have caused buyers to hold off. The market closed quiet. Prices unchanged. Parcels are quiet at lower rates to sell in Liverpool and Glasgow. South Australian wheat, ex Anchises, 53s Od. Liverpool futures ,are as follow:— July, lls OHd; October, 11s OVkl; December, 11s 0 l-8d; March, 10s llVid; May, 10s lOd. Spot trade is easier. Australian wheat ex ship to arrive sold at 50s 6d, ex store 41s 6d to 425.
Barley is steady, Australian Chevalier ex store being 54s to 565. Beans are quiet. Peas arc slow.
