Mr. Hall, one of the Australian delegates, told the Pacific Relations Institute that they were deluding themselves when they said they saw no chance of war in the Pacific.
Mr. Eggleston, criticising the proposed "Treaty" to abolish Pacific wars drafted by Professor Shotwell, of Columbia University, declared that a strong nation like the United States could persuade Japan to sign iv a week, and likewise China. He suggested that a Disarmament Pacific Treaty might be regionally urged.
The-, institute will consider the matter.
